Registration

Step 1: Team Registration

Our Registration Night will be Wednesday, May 22 in the Madison Cares Training Room located in the west wing of the Madison School District Building at 60 W Main Street in Rexburg. Use the west doors (closest to Broulim's).

The evening will be open-house style from 6-9pm. Plan to drop in for about 30 minutes to:

  • Meet & greet with other students, coaches, families.

  • Get questions answered.

  • Make sure you've accepted an invitation to TeamSnap by our Team Director.

  • Watch 13-minute Concussion Awareness Training Video. This is NICA mandatory for student + parent and includes paperwork. If you want to watch the video ahead of time, and complete the online verification form, find it here: http://www.idahomtb.org/c-programs/iicl-concussion-protocol/

  • Turn in money from your t-shirt and hoodie sales. See TeamSnap email with details about this. Email Team Director (info at bottom of page) if you want to be added to the TeamSnap email list.

  • Pay team fee of $80 (minus any credit you've earned from Sponsorship, Car Wash, Wellness Fair, or T-shirt Sales). You may pay with cash, check or Venmo.

  • Order your Race Jersey (one jersey is included in the $80 team fee). We will have a "fit kit" there for you to try on jerseys, shorts, bibs and get correct sizing. See attachment below with a mockup of the new design (Upper Valley and Female versions vary slightly).

  • Order additional race jerseys at $35 each.

  • Order new shorts or bibs if desired (these are optional and not included in Team fee). First pair of shorts or bibs will be $30/$35 and additional pairs will be $55/$65. 

  • Purchase "last year's" team gear from team inventory. We have the following items available first come first serve: jerseys for $25 (these CAN'T be used in this year's races because they are last year's design, but they are great for practicing), bike shorts and bibs for $25 (even though these are "last year's design," they CAN be used in this year's races), socks for $5.

Step 2: NICA Registration

  • After students pay the team fee and enter contact info into TeamSnap, Scott Hurst will send an invitation to access Pitzone to complete the NICA registration.

  • Accept the invitation and login to Pitzone (new riders will need to create an account). 

  • Complete all information, sign electronic waivers, and pay the $175 Idaho League fee. 

 

Practice Ready

In order to be Practice Ready, a student must:

  • Accept the TeamSnap invitation from Scott Hurst and enter contact information.

  • Pay team fee of $80 and order jersey

  • Watch Concussion video and complete form with parent.

  • Accesse Pitzone and enter contact info, complete waiver, and pay Idaho League fee of $175.

Race Ready

In order to be Race Ready, a student must:

  • Be Practice Ready

  • Register & pay for races in Pitzone. Race fees: The Idaho League Super Pass includes entry to all 5 races, a personalized race plate and a 2019 NICA t-shirt. It costs $150 for 9th-12th graders and $125 for 6th-8th graders who are considered "Middle School Riders"). The Super Pass also includes a personalized race plate and a 2019 NICA t-shirt. The Super Pass must be paid in Pitzone by July 31, 2019. Otherwise, race entry fee is $55/race. See the Idahomtb.org website for more information about deadlines. 

  • Communicate with team about carpooling, camping, & meal sharing for each race.
